Understand what's really driving your dog's behaviour
A full behavioural consultation, and a clear, personalised plan to change it — for aggression, reactivity, fear, and more.
You're in the right place if…
You love your dog. But right now, life with them might feel exhausting, unpredictable, or frightening. Maybe walks have become something to dread. Maybe you're scared of what might happen next. You're not a bad dog owner, you just need the right support.
I'm Kim, a Certified Clinical Animal Behaviourist based in Harrogate, and I help dog owners across Yorkshire, and online, UK-wide, understand what's really driving their dog's behaviour, and build a practical plan to change it.
Areas I work with
Aggression
Aggression can make even the nicest walks feel like a challenge, and it's a serious concern to carry alone. I work through your dog's full history, review video of the behaviour, and build management and behaviour-change protocols you can actually implement — supported by video analysis and face-to-face appointments throughout.
Reactivity
Barking, lunging, or freezing at triggers on walks is manageable with the right plan. We'll identify exactly what's triggering the response and build a structured, gradual programme to change your dog's emotional reaction to it.
Fear and phobias
Fearful or anxious dogs live stressful lives, which can spill into other areas of health and behaviour. A comprehensive behaviour modification plan, with regular catch-ups, helps your dog feel less fearful over time.
Behaviour linked to medical issues
Sometimes a change in behaviour has a medical root. Where relevant, I'll work alongside your vet to make sure the full picture is addressed — not just the behaviour on the surface.
